RFIDs coming to consumer goods

I didn't quite know whether to put this in Technology or Privacy, since it's a bit of both.USA Today has an interesting article on the upcoming use of RFIDs in consumer goods for inventory tracking, price tagging, and other uses.

It correctly raises the privacy concerns as well.

Of particular interest is Gillette's order for 500 Million of the little buggers. Through this volume purchasing, they've gotten the pricing down to $0.15 each, which is pretty tasty.
