When Dean Kamen was working on preparing his Segway Human Transporter for release, he jetted around the country trying to get advice from people such as Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos.

The Harvard Business School's Working Knowledge has an excerpt from an upcoming book on the Segway (Code Name Ginger) by Steve Kamper that contains an interesting exchange between the two celebs and some others about the pre-release product.

It isn't clear from the excerpt how much of their advice was taken, but the comments are typical of the two and show some of not only the style but the substance of these characters.
