Review: Identity

Identity is the first real thriller of the year and it does not disappoint.

Set as it is in a remote Nevada hotel during a heavy rainstorm, it becomes obvious early on (even if you haven't seen the trailers) that not all of the players are going to survive the night.

The tale unfolds through a series of flash-backs and real-time transitions that are a bit confusing in the early going but become rather more clear about 60 minutes in to the 87 minute piece. Regardless, the ride is a good time, with plenty of opportunities to grab the person sitting next to you and laugh nervously at the screen.

For those sensitive to such things, the violence is probably a bit much for your tastes, it is graphically portrayed and (despite being a bit campy) very bloody in places.
