FWB working to bring 3D acceleration to PC emulator

According to a transcript of an interview with a senior official at FWB, they are working on directly supporting 3D graphics cards in future versions of RealPC.

The RealPC product has been out of the Mac picture for a few years, apparently due to an agreement with Connectix that expired when Microsoft bought the VirtualPC product line earlier this year.

Officials at the company claim to be working on making providing the ability to play DirectX games on the Macintosh in future versions.

They have also announced a MacOS X version of RealPC due out in June.

The interview is kind of an interesting read, you can also check out the audio of an interview with the CEO of FWB at MacRadio.
