Bono uses stick and carrot with Bush over AIDS

Not the usual fare for this site, but I found interesting this article from the Washington Post about a meeting between President Bush and Bono (of the band U2).

Bono used a good combination of praise for Bush's long commitment and concern over the issue of AIDS, but complained at the lack of urgency to get money into the program. It's moves like this that give advocates a good name, as opposed to the ones who feel compelled to beat everyone with sticks and thereby marginalize themselves.

Good show, Bono.
