Are you in the RIAA's cross-hairs?

Have you ever wondered if you or your family is in the cross-hairs of the RIAA? Well, this article from BBC News describes how you can find out using a new database from the EFF.

If you are on one or more of the file sharing services, you can check out your IP address and/or your user name using this database to see if the RIAA is targeting you for legal fun.

The database was pulled together directly from the PACER database at the Washington, DC Federal District Court.

The EFF has also put up a tutorial page on how not to get accosted by the RIAA, which includes ideas such as not sharing anything that even remotely looks like it could be confused with tunes they protect.
